Aries Season

— APRIL 22nd - MAY 13th —

Aries Astronomy

Aries is one of the constellations of the zodiac. It is located in the Northern celestial hemisphere between Pisces to the west and Taurus to the east. It is a mid-sized constellation with an area of 441 square degrees.

The name Aries is Latin for ram.

Mars

Mars is the fourth planet from the Sun – a dusty, cold, desert world with a very thin atmosphere. Mars is also a dynamic planet with seasons, polar ice caps, canyons, and extinct volcanoes. The reason Mars has a red color on its surface is due to the finely-grained iron oxide dust in the soil, which give rise to its nickname, "the Red Planet". Mars has a radius of 2,106 miles and is the second smallest among planets in the Solar System.

It takes 687 days for Mars to orbit the sun.
